All issues can be resolved through dialogue, hence full freedom of movement in the peaceful town is in everyone’s interest, said Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo Slobodan Petrovic.

“I call on all citizens, no matter on their ethnic affiliation, to act responsibly in line with the laws and to respect law enforcement. Violence is not a solution. All issues can be resolved through dialogue. Safe Mitrovica, without violence, where all citizens have full freedom of movement like in all democratic societies, is in the interest of all of us,” said Petrovic to KIM radio and added that Kosovo government and Ministry for Local Self-Governance are engaged in resolving the problems in line with the laws and reached agreements.

“I want to emphasize that both, government and the Ministry for Local Self-Governance, will find solution to overcome this problem. We’ll work on it and I am sure that we’ll find solution which is in the interest of all Kosovo citizens,” said Petrovic.
