New York: Dačić had talks with several countries’ officials (IRS)

 

Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dačić had talks several countries’ officials on the margins of the 69th UN General Assembly sitting in New York. He met with Spanish counterpart Jose Garcia Margalla, who reiterated Spain’s support to Serbia’s stand on the Kosovo issue.

The two emphasized that bilateral cooperation was excellent at all levels and expressed an interest in strengthening economic cooperation. They also agreed that a bilateral ministerial meeting should be organized soon in order to improve economic cooperation. In talks with Tajikistani PM Kohir Rasulzod, Dačić spoke of the improvement of bilateral relations and cooperation during Serbia’s OSCE presidency. In talks with DPR Korea’s foreign minister Ri Su Jong, it was agreed that bilateral cooperation were good, but could be further improved. Intensification of cooperation during Serbia’s OSCE presidency was also agreed upon in talks with Turkmenistani Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov.
