The construction of three residential buildings with 36 flats, meant for the Serbs in Kosovska Mitrovica, have been put on hold because the representatives of the Kosovo institutions have not issued construction permits.

President of the interim municipal bodies in Kosovks Mitrovica, Aleksandar Spiric has stated that the continuation of the works largely depends on the agreement between the representatives of Belgrade and Pristina. By interrupting the works, Pristina has once more tried to exert pressure on the Serb community, Spiric says.

He expressed expectation, nevertheless, that a solution would be found and works continued before the end of the construction season.
