Stojanovic: We’ll fight for the interests of Serbs (RTS)

Serbs are not, and they will never be, part of the problem. We wish to offer concrete solutions and only the time will tell whether there is a good will on the other side, said Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo, Branimir Stojanovic, in his interview for Fonet agency.

He stressed that task of Serbs who are in Kosovo institutions is to fight united for their clearly defined goals. We wish to believe that it is possible for Pristina to change policy toward Serbs, said Stojanovic and added that until that happens the only real trust they have is in the Serbian Government.

On a remark that Pristina will carefully observe relations between Belgrade and of Kosovo Serbs, engaged in central institutions, Stojanovic said that their relations will be the best possible ones because ‘we are one nation, the Serbian Government is our government too, and that will never change’. “We survived here in last 15 years with the support of the Government of the Republic of Serbia and I believe that it will be our main anchor in the future,” Stojanovic said.

Stojanovic reflected on the creation of the Association/Community of Serb municipalities and said that it will be the most important topic, along with the privatization and usurpation of the land belonging to the Serbian Orthodox Church.
