Serbian gendarmerie prevented today another attempt of wood stilling along the administrative line with Kosovo.

In the area of the village Vasiljevac in Kursumlija Municipality Serbian gendarmerie spotted a group of wood thieves who escaped after gendarmes fired several shots in the air, Tanjug learned in the Ministry of Interior (MUP) of Serbia. MUP communicated that EULEX was informed about the incident.

Gendarme Stevan Sindjelic was killed last summer in the area of the administrative line with Kosovo, after wood thieves from the Podujevo/Podujevë Municipality tried to cross into Serbia proper and still woods in Kursumlija Municipality.
