Tahiri: We didn’t discuss Gazivode Lake (Vecernje Novosti/KIM Radio)

Kosovo Minister for dialogue Edita Tahiri says that property of Kosovo was never discussed with the Serbian side and claims that Serbia has recognized Kosovo, by stating where bigger and smaller parts of Gazivode Lake are located.

“I consider that Serbia has recognized the state of Kosovo with this stand point, speaking of where smaller and where bigger parts of the lake are located,” said Tahiri.

Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic, following the end of the last round of the dialogue in Brussels with his Kosovo counterpart Isa Mustafa said that Pristina has admitted that bigger part of the lake is located on the territory of central Serbia.

Thairi also said that after approximation of stands of the both sides over the ‘Park of Peace’ at the bridge over Ibar/Ibër River in Mitrovica, an agreement could be reached over the issue in May at the next meeting of two sides. “We encountered approximation of stands with the technical group from Serbian side over range of issues in order that it could be finalized at the next meeting on 8 May,” said Tahiri to Pristina based TV21.
