Talks in Brussels and Berlin step forward in European integration (Blic)
Political analysts Aleksandra Joksimovic and Dragan Djukanovic agreed that the talks that Serbian PM Aleksandar Vucic had in Brussels and Berlin are a step forward in the European integration of our country.
Joksimovic said that it is a move in the right direction, pointing out that it was very encouraging that the Prime Minister had a good response from all the representatives of the EU Member States in Brussels. His visit to Berlin was positive from the other side, because Berlin is the centre of bringing decisions in this process, she said. "I think that once again was confirmed that further steps in European integration depend on the progress made in the negotiations and the normalization of relations between Belgrade and Pristina,” said Joksimovic.
Djukanovic said that we should expect opening of the first negotiating chapters in five to six months and that Serbia is ready to start resolving of the most difficult issues. "In the future we can expect intensified and proactive policy of Germany towards Serbia and our region. Serbia is absolutely ready to initiate the most difficult issues, among which the most important are talks with Pristina,” said Djukanovic.
