Kotzias: We will discuss security situation in Balkans (Tanjug)
Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias, who is arriving on an official visit to Belgrade on Thursday, has said that with Serbia's officials he will discuss the security situation in the Balkans.
We will discuss prospects for joint endeavors in the fields of energy and transport and consider the security situation in the Balkans, challenges relating to migrations and the issue of refugees, Kotzias said in an interview to Tanjug.
Kotzias said that Greece is the third biggest investor in Serbia, noting that Greek companies created thousands of jobs in the financial services business, construction, telecommunications and hotel industry.
We sincerely wish to strengthen economic ties and increase Greece's export to Serbia. We would also like to consider issues related to the presence of Greek companies and potential plans for investment and joint business activities, said Kotzias, who is of the opinion that there are many opportunities for cooperation in the sectors of services, tourism, energy and trade.
