Živković: Maybe about special court, not about army (KIM Radio)

“Amendments of the Kosovo Constitution on transformation of the Kosovo Security Forces into an army will not be on the Kosovo parliament’s agenda this week,” confirmed MP from the Serbian List Jasmina Živković.

She explained that this issue was discussed at the Kosovo presidency’s session and that discussion over this topic is postponed upon proposal of the head of the Serbian List’s caucus.

Pristina-based papers yesterday informed that Kosovo government did not manage to forward the proposal on constitutional amendments referring to creation of the Kosovo army to the Kosovo parliament.

Živković further said that there are no official announcements so far that establishment of the special court for Kosovo Liberation Army war crimes will be discussed before the parliament’s summer retreat, which starts in two weeks, and added that MPs from the Serbian List are ready to participate in the work of the parliament in case of new developments.
