The opposition in Serbia: Whose will be the Community/Association?
Representatives of the opposition Democratic Party today in the Assembly have asked the Government of Serbia and Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic to explain what the executive powers were agreed for the Community/Association of Serbian municipalities.
Borislav Stefanovic, from the Democratic party, has asked what are the executive powers of the ZSO, will the ZSO, for example, be able to appoint directors of hospitals and schools, and by whose laws will be determined school programs.
He said it would be interesting to hear what about the agreement in Brussels thinks Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic and whether his platform on Kosovo "rotted after what Vucic has signed."
President of the New Party, Zoran Zivkovic asked the Prime Minister under whose constitution and laws will be formed ZSO, what are its executive powers and how the Serbs in Kosovo will be more protected by the formation than they are now, and that he believes that until now they were not protected at all.
"I know about 26 associations of pigeon breeders in Serbia which have a flag, seal, president, deputy president ... It does not mean anything," said Zivkovic.
