Stankovic expects political seriousness from Albanian leaders in the South Serbia (Akter)
President of the Coordination Body for Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja Zoran Stankovic told FoNet that the talks between Pristina and Belgrade in Brussels do not include discussions about the municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja and called on Albanian leaders from the three municipalities on "political seriousness and responsibility".
He added that the Coordination Body expects "dose of political seriousness and responsibility" from the Albanian leaders in southern Serbia, and upon the initiative of the President of the Albanian National Council Jonuz Musliu to declare the autonomy of the three municipalities.
"It's hard for me to comment on an initiative that does not contain activities that will improve the lives of people in the municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja, the Coordination Body, which I lead, expects from the leaders of the Albanians in southern Serbia dose of political seriousness and responsibility in this matter," said Stankovic.
Musliu's initiative to schedule a meeting of the Assembly with Albanian Deputies from the three municipalities that would discuss, among other things, the proclamation of the autonomy, have supported almost all Albanian political leaders in southern Serbia.
