A person of Serbian nationality was wounded in a shooting that took place in Mitrovica North last night. The case was characterized by a prosecutor as the attempted murder.

The head of Regional Kosovo Police Operation Unit Željko Bojić said to Kontakt Plus Radio that wounded person V.M. (32) was admitted to hospital in Mitrovica North.

Information about the incident was received at 11:30 PM from the hospital, the victim was shot at the shin in the incident that took place in Tanaska Rajica St, said Bojić. He further said that motive remains unknown for the time being, and that investigation is ongoing.
