Minister for Communities and Return Dalibor Jevtić paid a visit to Bogoslovija (seminary) in Prizren, and visited Serbs who live in suburb Podkaljaja and village Novake. Jevtić said that with determination and joint work people can return and survive in this area.
Prizren seminary “St Kirilo and Metodije” has been reopened in 2011 and has received assistance in several occasions from the Ministry of Communities and Return, it currently has 53 students. Jevtić stressed that Ministry together with the IOM mission in Kosovo is implementing several projects aimed at helping those in need.
Serbs who live in suburb Podkaljaja have used the opportunity to inform Minister Jevtić about problems they are faced with, whereas residents of village Novake near Prizren said that they have one problem less after Ministry managed to solve their problem with the water supply.
“The aim of our visit is to talk to people who live here, to learn about what they are doing and producing, what are the problems they are faced with and what are their needs, in order that we create a picture about what should be a priority in our work,” said Deputy Minister for Agriculture Rodoljub Mladenović.
