Deputy Head of the Serbian Government’s Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Dusan Kozarev, yesterday voiced expectation that the demarcation between Mitrovica North and Mitrovica South will be carried out in a best possible way.

Kozarev expects that all issues with regard to demarcation will be resolved in next two days and that conditions will be created for the start of revitalization of the main bridge over the Ibar/Ibër River. He added that two competent professional teams are dealing with the issue in order that ‘best solution is found in the interest of peace and stability’ aimed at overcoming the situation created following the postponement of the revitalization of the bridge.

European Union’s Office in Kosovo informed that planned revitalization has been postponed for 48 hours in order to provide both sides with additional time for reaching mutually acceptable solution.
