Rašić: Threats dangerous even for Serbs (KIM Radio)

Threats voiced by certain Kosovo political leaders and MPs that people would arrest Isa Mustafa in case that police arrests opposition MPs could even be dangerous for Serbs in Kosovo, said MP from the Serbian List  and leader of the Progressive Democratic Party, Nenad Rašić.

“I expect prompt reaction on the side of international representatives with regard to this statement, since they should be aware that this statements reaches all Albanians, extreme groups and many people who are prone to violence”, said Rašić and warned that similar statements could be apprehend as a direct call for using violence ‘to settle unresolved political issues”. Rašić advised all Serbs to take care of themselves and to be vigilant in coming days, and voiced expectation that this is the alarm for Kosovo Police, EULEX and KFOR to strengthen their presence in settlements where Serbs and Albanians are directly exposed to each other.
