Jevtic: The security situation in Kosovo is fragile (Kontakt Plus radio)
Minister of Communities and Returns in the Kosovo government Dalibor Jevtic says that the security situation in Kosovo is fragile and it is necessary to act preventively to avoid escalation.
He condemned the attack on the property of doctor from Donja Gusterica and also pointed out that he requested from the Kosovo Police to provide patrol which would ensure 24 hours village Gojbulja near Vucitrn/Vushtrri.
He recalled that at the store, where Serbs gather in village Gojbulja, few days ago was thrown bomb that did not explode and said that this was not the first attack at about 150 Serbs who live in this village.
"It is worrying that a number of those who fought in Syria and Iraq for the Islamic state have returned to Kosovo or to the surrounding area. The competent institutions assure us that these people are under constant surveillance," he said.
Jevtic adds that the responsibility for the situation in Kosovo is up to all those who who in any way destabilize the situation in Kosovo, including representatives of the Kosovo opposition.
