In Kosovo, KFOR presence important (KIM radio)
The NATO commanders in Naples and in Kosovo, Mark Ferguson and Guglielmo Luigi Miglieatta, discussed the security situation with Head of UNMIK Zahir Tanin and Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister Branimir Stojanovic.
This meeting was held after the attacks on Serbs in Gorazdevac, Srbobran and Gojbulja.
According to the announcement from KFOR, the officials agreed on the importance of the presence of the international military forces, as a key factor in maintaining a safe and secure environment in Kosovo.
"KFOR's ability, to cooperate in a constructive and impartial manner with both local and international organizations in Kosovo, is important in ensuring the stability of the entire Balkan region," reads the KFOR statement from this morning.
