Rakocevic: Dialogue is “stillborn” (KIM Radio)

“I am against that Serbs in Gracanica are eradicated, and the area to be populated by Albanians from the north of Kosovo or Presevo Valley. This is that fascist project Vucic, Thaci and Rama are embracing, Kosovo Assembly MP Ilir Deda said. Meanwhile, journalist Zivojin Rakocevic thinks that the dialogue is “stillborn.”

These remarks were made in a debate about Belgrade-Pristina dialogue held in Gracanica yesterday, RTV KIM reports.

Deda also criticized politics that Serbian and Kosovo presidents are leading, supported by the EU High Representative Federica Mogherini.

Stojanovic appointed as State Secretary in Serbian Ministry of Economy (KoSSev portal)

Former Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister and a member of Srpska Lista, Branimir Stojanovic is appointed by the Government of Serbia, as a State Secretary in the Ministry of Economy, KoSSev portal reports today.

Decision on the appointment was made on 31 January 2018.

“New role and new tasks. Everything in service to our people and Serbia,” Stojanovic wrote on his Facebook profile and posted decision on the appointment, KoSSev portal reported.

Stojanovic: Serbs from Kosovo support initiative for internal dialogue (Kontakt plus radio)

Outgoing Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister, Branimir Stojanovic stated today that Serbs from Kosovo support an initiative of the Serbian President, Aleksandar Vucic on internal dialogue on Kosovo, Kontakt plus radio reported.

After repeated counting of 117 ballot boxes, Simic enters Kosovo Assembly (Lajmi.net, KoSSev, Danas)

Quoting Albanian-language portal Lajmi.net, KosSev reported that repeated counting of ballot papers from 117 ballot boxes has caused some changes related to the expectations as to who will seat at the Kosovo Assembly.

Lajmi.net learned out that in regards to Srpska Lista, previous official results noted that Slavko Simic did not manage to secure enough votes to become an MP, however, following the repeated counting Simic will be an MP, at the Kosovo Assembly, leaving behind Branimir Stojanovic.

KFOR crucial for peace in Kosovo (KIM radio)

KFOR  a key factor in maintaining peace and protecting religious facilities, deputy prime minister Branimir Stojanovic and Deputy Assistant Secretary General of NATO Operations John Manza have agreed, reports KIM radio.

During the meeting, they exchanged views on the situation in Kosovo, discussing security, protection of religious facilities and the current political situation after parliamentary elections.

Quarrel in the Serbian list (KIM radio)

The meeting of representatives of the Serbian List was marked by quarrels between Slobodan Petrović, Slavko Simić and Branimir Stojanović.

Representatives of the Serbian list invited media to record only the beginning of the meeting. However, quarrel between the representatives of the list marked the very beginning of the meeting and in front of the media.

Stojanović: Jablanović does not have the support of the Serbian List (Serbian media)

Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo from the Serbian List Branimir Stojanović says that Aleksandar Jablanović does not present the unity of all the Serb representatives and that he does not have the support of the Serbian List.

Stojanović said this to Radio Television of Serbia (RTS), and added that nobody can be president of the Serbian List without the support of the Serbs, and announced an extraordinary meeting of the representatives of the list.
