Simic spoke about the attacks on Serbs when tear gas was thrown at his feet (Blic)

President of the "Serbian List" Slavko Simic was addressing the MPs in the Kosovo parliament, demanding to punish the attackers on Serbs in Gorazdevac and Srbobran, when opposition MPs stormed into the hall and threw tear gas at his feet.

Simic was the first to address the MPs, reminding them on the recent series of attacks on Serbs, among which was shooting on the Serb house in which was a seven year-old girl. “…I do not want to urge the international community to protect them, but these institutions need to take responsibility and show impartiality. The time has come to move from words to deeds and to take concrete steps, in order to bring the perpetrators of these horrendous acts to justice,” said Simic.

However at this point four opposition MPs stormed into the hall and Besa Baftiu threw tear gas. The session was then discontinued, but the chaos has spilled over in the streets of Pristina.
