Simic: The Serbian List might not participate in the session (KIM Radio)

The Chairperson of the Serbian List, Slavko Simic, said that it is not likely that MPs from this list will participate in the session during which the president of Kosovo is to be elected. He told Beta agency that he also left last night's session of the Assembly Presidency, which was interrupted by the release of  tear-gas and later continued in another hall.

Simic further said that he doesn’t want ‘anyone to manipulate’ MPs of this list, nor anyone from the Serbian community in Kosovo. “We did have consultations with regards to an extraordinary session with our coalition partners, however we did not present an official position,” said Simic and added that the list is not in favor of calling the session on Friday before their requests related to solving the problems faced by the Serbian community in Kosovo, are defined.

Simic also said that he expects maturity on the side of coalition partners with whom they must meet and sign a document addressing all these issues. Simic concluded that unless this takes place it is uncertain that MPs from the Serbian List will even participate in the extraordinary session during which the president of Kosovo is to be elected, let alone support a candidate.
