Rakic: The goal - enclose Serbs in the ghetto (Vecernje Novosti)
The mayors in Kosovo announced the blockage of Jarinje and Brnjak crossings if the authorities in Pristina maintain the decision not to allow movement across the crossings with Serbian IDs.
This issue will be, on Tuesday, one of the topics of discussion between Belgrade and Pristina in Brussels and Goran Rakic, Mayor of northern Mitrovica, believes that the intention of Edita Tahiri will be thwarted.
- Do you need someone to die because of the arbitrariness of some politicians in Pristina, above all, Edita Tahiri, who earlier repeatedly brought unacceptable decisions, which luckily have not been implemented - asks Rakic.
- What will happen to those Serbs who, for example, are treated in central Serbia, or to those, who, on this occasion, had to cross the administrative crossings and do not have Kosovo ID cards?
Mayor of North Mitrovica notes that the unilateral decision is not the first and he believes neither the last one, that aims at restricting and intimidating the Serbs into obeying the decisions of Kosovo institutions.
