There was no attempt of kidnapping; the girl was attacked (KIM radio)
A 17 years old minor reported yesterday the attack - and not an attempted kidnapping reported by some media - to the police station in Gracanica, told Bratislav Trajkovic, Commander of the police station in Gracanica to RTV KIM .
As confirmed, the girl before the prosecutor made a statement, saying that there was an attack and the case was recorded as such.
"Such statement is not given to the police nor may the incident be qualified as attempted kidnapping from the description of the victim."
Trajkovic said that two persons have participated in the aforementioned attack from a vehicle.
"She was moving on the sidewalk, and two people were in the vehicle, of whom one, hit her with his hand out from the window."
Trajkovic said that the incident occurred on the main road Gjilan/Gnjilane-Gracanica, near the Roma mahalla. He said that an investigation was launched, and that the entire event was recorded by the cameras.
This attack was the third incident so far recorded in the municipality of Gracanica, reminds Mayor Vladeta Kostic. He told Radio Gracanica that citizens do not feel safe because "there is a problem in the work of police in Gracanica", noting that it is an obligation of the authorities to take care of the citizens' security since they are paid to do so.
