Simić and Žbogar on the EU Office support to the Serbian community (RTK2)
President of the Serbian List Slavko Simić met with outgoing Head of the EU Office in Kosovo SamueI Žbogar. The talks focused on support of the EU office to the Serbian community, when it comes to economic and infrastructure development, as well as the activities of MPs of the Serbian List, the current draft of the Law on the Census of the population in the north of Kosovo and the process of dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina.
Interlocutors agree on necessity of further continuing the process of implementation of reached agreements and the establishment of the A/CSM, on which insists and the Office of the European Union in Pristina, reports RTK2.
Simic and Žbogar praised the successful cooperation, and said that they hope that the cooperation between the Office of the European Union and the Serbian List would continue the same direction.
Simić conveyed an attitude of the political representatives of Serbs from the central and local governments about the proposed law on the census of population in the north and presented the conclusion of the meeting that was held in Mitrovica. Simić conveyed the position that due to non-existent political, security and social conditions it would not be possible to hold the census in municipalities with Serbian majority.
He expressed the hope that this attitude would be considered by the relevant political representatives and institutions, as well as international representatives.
