Fatherland Movement: Vucic would propose two Germany model as solution for Kosovo status (Kontakt plus radio)
Serbian President, Aleksandar Vucic, would propose to citizens two Germany model as a solution for the Kosovo status, Fatherland Movement said today referring to “reliable sources,” Kontakt plus radio reported.
Its press statement further reads, that within this model, Serbia should sign with Kosovo a peace treaty, exchange diplomatic representatives and do not obstacle Kosovo to become a UN member.
Such a model was presented to Vojislav Kostunica and Boris Tadic in 2008 by the German diplomat Wolfgang Ischinger, however both rejected it. Kostunica and Tadic also rejected Ahtisaari’s Proposal, same did the Assembly of Serbia, but it did not bother Aleksandar Vuci to sign the Brussels agreement that offers to Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija, much less than Ahtisaari’s Proposal.
At the same time, Fatherland Movement stated they are fully supporting the Serbian Orthodox Church Patriarch Irinej “who wisely said, what is taken by force, must be returned, but if a government gives up on Kosovo and signs it, then Kosovo can never be given back.”
