The court in Prizren has extended detention to Bogdan Mitrovic, who was arrested in August while visiting his family house near Suva Reka, for two more months, Kontakt plus radio reported.

Mitrovic’s defence lawyer Dejan A. Vasic said that decision on extension of detention was not expected, taking into account testimonies of witnesses interviewed so far.

Mitrovic was accused based on the statement of his Albanian neighbour who said that Mitrovic allegedly participated in events that have elements of crimes against civilian population.

Meanwhile, Mitrovic rejected these allegations as untrue, saying he has nothing to do with the war crimes, and it was due to his merit, that the property of the Albanian accusing him now, was preserved during the war, Kontakt plus radio reported.
