The Serbian Association not invited to a meeting with Haradinaj on the issue of the missing (KiM radio)
Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj will meet today with representatives of the government's Missing Persons Commission and organizations that are dealing with the issue of missing persons in Kosovo.
Representatives of the Serbian Association of Families of the Abducted and Missing Persons are not invited to this meeting.
The invitation of the Government of Kosovo sent to the media states that at 9 am the Prime Minister of Kosovo Ramush Haradinaj will hold a meeting with representatives of the Government Commission for Missing Persons and all organizations dealing with the issue of the missing.
However, the coordinator of the Association of Families of the Kidnapped and Missing Persons in Kosovo and Metohija, Milorad Trifunović, in a statement to RTV Kim, said that no one from this association has been invited to the meeting with Haradinaj.
"I am surprised that this meeting is held today with the Prime Minister without the invitation of the Serbian Association. He as the Prime Minister of Kosovo probably knows that there is a Serbian association registered with the Government of Kosovo. As well as Mr Prenk Gjetaj knows that there is a Serbian association."
And Silvana Marinković, president of the Serbian Association, confirms that she was not invited to a meeting with the newly-appointed prime minister.
"I found out about that meeting and I called Prenk Gjetaj to tell him that I am interested to go myself to that meeting, but he does not answer the phone," Marinković told RTV Kim.
