Lazarević: Elections are neither fair nor democratic (Vesti-online)
"This has nothing to do with any free, fair, democratic elections, at least when it comes to voting in Serb-populated areas, despite the fact that the atmosphere today for the time being seems to be very free and runs to a large extent without incident (…).
Until yesterday, continuous messages from the leaders of Serbian institutions in Kosovo and Metohija and Serbian officials were published, let me quote them: that today, they need to go in groups/lines at the democratic elections of the individual, to bring with them their mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, friends…and to vote for only one Serbian party out of I think 17 Serbian political subjects that were registered for these elections,” Editor-in-Chief of KoSSev portal, Tanja Lazarević said to Vesti-online.
Lazarević also said she was told by her acquaintances from Belgrade that some retirees from Kosovo who are living in Belgrade received multiple phone calls and offers to go to vote in Kosovo. In the end she concluded that the outcome of the elections among Serbs in Kosovo would have quite some consequences on the events in Central Serbia and that the events in Kosovo are heralding the events in Belgrade.
