“Farce, Djuric would prefer to talk to numismatics” (BETA, B92)
Leader of the Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) Milos Jovanovic said DSS would not take part in a farce called internal dialogue on Kosovo, Serbian media reported.
Jovanovic said that the Chair of the Working Group to support dialogue, Marko Djuric, would prefer more to talk to numismatics about this for Serbia and Serbian people fateful topic.
“DSS shall not take part in this farce,” Jovanovic said at the press conference, related to the first session of the Working Group meeting to support internal dialogue on Kosovo, launched by the Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic earlier this summer.
Jovanovic, said that due to the importance of the topic, DSS intended to participate in the dialogue and understood it would be held within the framework of the Constitution of Serbia and the UN SC Resolution 1244 and considered that relevant stakeholders such as Serbian Orthodox Church and political parties would participate as well, and not that the invitation would be sent to everybody, Serbian media reported.
Such concept, according to Jovanovic, would serve to prepare citizens to painful compromises or to simple buy some time, and whatever reason comes first it is not good, he said, adding that the DSS, because Serbia enters a phase to surrender Kosovo, is working to gather forces that think the future cannot be secured that way, Serbian media reported.
