Đurić: Second and third roundtables on Kosovo in November (Radio Mitrovica)
“Internal dialogue on Kosovo and Metohija aims to hear and take into account the opinion of all citizens of Serbia, and the first round table gathered more than 40 law professors and deans of all law faculties in Serbia, from whom we were able to hear very creative ideas” Serbian Government Office for Kosovo Director, Marko Djuric said to Serbian media.
Djuric addressed the criticism of some opposition parties which claim that the internal dialogue is a farce and said that those very same parties remained silent for decades and hid behind the patriotic slogans and during the time they were in power, the opinion of citizens on Kosovo was not important, media further reported.
He also announced intensification of activities on the internal dialogue in November, saying that during this month, the second and third roundtables would be held.
“We are now addressed by representatives of the institutes, primarily social sciences, and we will support them,” he said, adding that the Working Group’s website was created and that some round tables would be broadcast alive.
