Vucic: I believe, a more serious debate on Kosovo on spring (RTK2, Tanjug, RTS)
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic believes that in early spring, and in the context of internal dialogue on Kosovo, would be able to start a more serious debate, reports RTK 2 quoting Belgrade based agency Tanjug.
Vucic in Lebane, responding to journalists' questions, points out that the issue of Kosovo is very important and that it is important that people speak the truth in the internal dialogue.
"It is important that people have shown in every possible way so far that they can and want to express their views that are heterogeneous, different in terms of Kosovo," says Vucic.
As he points out, this shows the democratic capacity of Serbian society to talk and try to solve problems, although as he says, ''we are currently far from the solution."
''I hope and believe that in the future we will succeed in rationalizing our demands and our policy and to preserve what belongs to our people. I believe that we will be able to begin this spring with this kind of a serious process," concludes Vucic.
Asked to comment on Daut Haradinaj's statement that the KLA would re-activate in case of his or his associates arrest, Vucic says he does not want to interfere in Kosovo politicians' statements regarding the start of work of the Special Court for KLA crimes, reports RTS.
"These are the relations between the Albanians and their Western allies, so I would not interfere with that," Vucic says, RTS reports today.
