Serbian Cultural Center in Pristina (KIM radio)
Nineteen years after the war in Kosovo, Pristina, in the yard of the church of St. Nicholas, the first Serbian cultural institution will be in operation. The Cultural Center will open on the Sretenje, the Serbia's Statehood day, reports KIM radio.
As announced at the Cultural Center in Gracanica, the opening of the cultural center is planned after the bishop of Raska Prizren Theodosije serves liturgy.
Then the opening of the exhibition of paintings of ''painters of the Pristina art school" is planned, as well as the performance of the KUD "Kopaonik" from Leposavic - Games from the old Pristina.
The aim of this cultural center will be to promote and support the cultural and artistic activities of the remaining Serbs from Pristina, according to the Gracanica Cultural Center, KIM radio reports.
At the opening will be present a representative of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija and State Secretary in the Serbian Ministry of Economy, Branimir Stojanovic.
