The outpatient clinic stoned in Suvi Do (Kontakt plus radio)
Director of the Hospital in Mitrovica North Dr. Milan Ivanovic confirmed to Kontakt plus radio that the outpatient clinic was stoned in Suvi Do.
According to Ivanovic, glass of the windows and entrance doors were broken.
Regional Director of the Kosovo Police Operations Zeljko Bojic confirmed to Kontakt plus radio that at 8:51 a case was reported to the police, that an investigation was carried out, with the finding that windows were broken at the outpatient clinic and he said that the case was forwarded to the competent prosecutor in order to continue investigation.
This is the third time in the last three months that the clinic was stoned in Suvi Do.
KBC Director Milan Ivanovic assessed that it was an act of vandalism and considered that the clinic should be secured by the establishment of a permanent police patrol due to increasing attacks, but also because of the general uncertainty of Serbs there.
The Mayor of North Mitrovica, Goran Rakic, said last night that the stoning of the clinic in Suvi Do was an act of vandalism and invited the authorities to find those responsible for the incident.
The incident was condemned strongly and by the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, which considered it as an intimidation of the Serb population in that part of Mitrovica, reported Kontakt plus radio.
The Office of KiM stated that the clinic has been stoned several times in the last few months, which clearly indicates the motives of the attackers.
