Ivanic visits Serbian Orthodox Church Monasteries in Kosovo (Tanjug, RTS)
Serbian member of Bosnia and Herzegovina Presidency, Mladen Ivanic is paying a three-day visit to the Serbian Orthodox Church Monasteries in Kosovo and Metohija, Serbian media reported.
Ivanic visited the Pec Patriarchate and Visoki Decani Monastery and spoke with the Abbess Haritina and the Abbott Sava Janjic.
Abbess Haritina briefed Mladen Ivanic about the problems sisterhood of the monastery are facing, adding they had not left the monastery even during the most difficult days. In Visoki Decani Monastery, Ivanic met with the Abbott Sava Janjic and also spoke about the problems monks are facing there, Ivanic’s press statement sent to Tanjug reads.
He would also visit Velika Hoca village and Prizren, including Saint Djordje and Holly Mother of Ljevis Churches, Seminary as well as Saint Archangels Monastery, Serbian media reported.
