SANU to publish book with academics’ papers on Kosovo (Tanjug, KIM Radio)
Deputy President of the Serbian Academy of Science and Arts (SANU), Academic Ljubomir Maksimovic announced the SANU would start publishing on 12 March 2018, a book containing academics’ papers on Kosovo, including conclusions from discussions in different SANU’s departments on this topic, Serbian media reported.
This, according to Maksimovic, would be SANU’s contribution to the internal dialogue on Kosovo, launched by the President Aleksandar Vucic.
He reminded that SANU is the highest scientific and artistic institution in Serbia, of the particular organization, therefore it is not possible to make a conclusion at the level of the Academy, but it is a pool of individuals who as scientists or artists deal with matters of general importance, including Kosovo.
First part of the book would include papers of 10 academics, including Miro Vuksanovic, Tibor Vardi and Kosta Cavoski, while the second part would include stances and conclusions made during discussions in various departments, signed with individual names of academics involved.
Maksimovic also announced that in April this year, a complete bibliography of SANU dedicated to Kosovo and Metohija, would be published, including books whose authors are academics, but also, books published under SANU (such as publications from public discussions or gatherings organized in SANU), Serbian media reported.
