Selakovic in Laplje Selo: Better communication aim of meeting (RTK2)
The aim of the meeting with Serbs in Kosovo is better communication and pointing out issues that should be jointly resolved, Secretary General of the Serbian Presidency said during yesterday’s gathering in Laplje Selo, RTK 2 reported.
Selakovic also added that Serbs with Belgrade can do something, but without Belgrade they can do nothing.
The roundtable was organized by the Serb National Forum, and more than 17 participants presented different issues ranging from security, health to the issues in education.
Momcilo Trajkovic from the Serb National Forum said this is a good opportunity to overcome disputes and to establish an authentic Serb policy that would be Serbia’s pillar in Kosovo, instead of political party policy.
Responding to presentations, Selakovic noted it is important to talk and that the meeting in some way is a part of the internal dialogue on Kosovo. He also asked for concrete proposals so he can convey them to the President Vucic.
Selakovic said it is important that the topic put aside a few years ago is back to the agenda and people from intellectual, academic, business, sport and scientific communities in other parts of Serbia, and in Kosovo, can talk about Kosovo issue, RTK 2 reported.
It was agreed to continue with similar meetings in the future in order to find the way to resolve issues of Serbs in Kosovo, RTK 2 reported.
