Kosovo Prosecution, refuted media reports on the meeting between Serbian State Prosecutor, Zagorka Dolovac and Kosovo Chief Prosecutor, Aleksandar Lumezi, and that topic of the meeting was an investigation of Oliver Ivanovic murder, Serbian media reported.
Kosovo Prosecution said in a written statement a regional roundtable was held in Zagreb on 24 May, including participants from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia, including also USA Attorney General Jeff Sessions.
The statement said a dinner was also organized and participants talked on that occasion, but not on the topics as reported by the media. The statement also refuted media reports that USA Attorney General Sessions mediated in organizing any meeting between Dolovac and Lumezi.
Danas daily reported on Friday, referring to unofficial diplomatic sources that Zagorka Dolovec met in Pristina with Kosovo Special Prosecution Office representatives, with the mediation of Jeff Sessions and that Oliver Ivanovic murder investigation was one of the topics discussed.
USA Embassy in Pristina, according to Danas, also said the meeting between Kosovo and Serbian prosecutors took place in Zagreb, but Danas did not get a reply on the role of this embassy in Oliver Ivanovic murder investigation.
