Vulin, Ljajic on delineation, division of Kosovo (Tanjug, Blic, B92)
Serbian Defense Minister, Aleksandar Vulin said he thinks that delineation with Kosovo and Metohija is the best solution, adding that this is his personal stance, Tanjug news agency reported.
Vulin is also convinced such solution would prevent creation of “Great Albania” which he as a minister and politician sees as a greatest danger for the region.
“The “Great Albania” has to be stopped in Kosovo. Its spreading must be stopped there, also the process of destabilization of the region must stop there. Otherwise is not possible,” Vulin told Tanjug.
He added delineation as a solution to the Kosovo issue is just a framework idea, that must be worked on.
“It is necessary to consider what to do with the Serbs who would not be part of that delineation, what about obligations of countries surrounding us, (…),” Vulin said.
Meanwhile, Minister of Trade and Telecommunications, Rasim Ljajic told Blic daily that division of Kosovo was a good but a belated solution.
Ljajic added if such scenario was offered prior to 1999 Albanians would accept it. However, today great part of the international community is against division, since it could have negative implications for other countries in the region.
He opined the model of “two Germanies” is implementable in one segment only, we agree we do not recognize each other, but we must live next to each other and that everything else is difficult to implement since international circumstances have changed.
