SNF: Unfulfilled promises from talks with Vucic (KIM Radio)

Six months after the talks with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, the President did not fulfill any promise he made back then, Serb National Forum (SNF) said today, KIM Radio reported. “All what you have promised, you did not fulfill. You continue to act, as if we have not met at all. However, the public and media are witnesses of that,” SNF further added. Momcilo Trajkovic, from the Serb National Forum said that President Vucic with an invitation for a meeting that took place on January 30, wanted to defuse the pressure following tragic murder of Oliver Ivanovic, for which, Trajkovic claims, Belgrade authorities, at least partly, bear objective responsibility. “We spoke about circumstances of Oliver Ivanovic’s murder. You have promised “to turn every stone” in order to find the killers and those who gave the order. 200 days have passed, and although you promised to inform the public, you said no word about it,” Trajkovic said in a letter. Trajkovic reminded that SNF representatives warned Vucic about the video spot aired on TV Most and TV Pink during election campaign, accusing Oliver Ivanovic of high-treason and placing “target on his forehead.” “If you are not in a position to find Oliver’s murderer, I am certain that in one day you could tell us who were creators and those who ordered that heinous video spot, that gave the right to anyone to kill such a man given the way he was presented to the public.” Trajkovic recalled they spoke with Vucic about Milan Radojicic, and the President claimed he does not know him. “You said, I quote, “I have never seen in my life, that Radojicic some people mention now, and I do not know who he is,” and you listed some other people you were allegedly linked with, and you perhaps met them somewhere once. It was not even three months after our talks, with your blessing, that man who was even until then your chief negotiator, was appointed as a deputy chairman of the so-called Srpska Lista,” Trajkovic underlined. Trajkovic mentioned some other promises made during the meeting, such as passing the Law on Fund for Kosovo and Metohija and establishment of State Council for Kosovo and Metohija. Reacting to Vucic’s comment “all Serbs know Kosovo is lost” Trajkovic responded that “we who live here still claim it is not, neither for us nor for Serbia. There is 120.000 of us in Kosovo, still owning thousands of hectares of land, and dozen thousands of displaced whose properties were usurped, and with serious support from a state we could stabilize our national presence and strengthen our position and that of the state of Serbia.” “There is historic and cultural heritage, there is historic right of the Serb people as well,” Trajkovic said, adding that despite disagreements over the current politics of Aleksandar Vucic on Kosovo, SNF extends hand and offers that together with all national and democratic powers in Serbia, and the Church, to change the politics and seek for new possibilities to find solution to the burning issue, KIM Radio reported.
