Mustafa denies he had prior knowledge of Kumanovo events (Telegrafi)
Kosovo Prime Minister Isa Mustafa expressed concern over, as he said, attempts to manipulate the public by allegations that he had prior information from the Kosovo Intelligence Agency (KIA) about events in Kumanovo, FYROM.
“We assure the public opinion that if the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo had such information, not only would he urgently seek security institutions to undertake all preventive measures but such a thing would also be requested from the Republic of Macedonia authorities in order to prevent loss of human lives and damage of property,” a press release issued by Mustafa’s office reads.
Mustafa called for an independent, objective and comprehensive investigation into Kumanovo events.
