Doli: Political parties are using parliamentary means (RTK)

Dren Doli, from the Pristina-based Group for Legal and Political Studies, said in an interview for RTK that the unification of the opposition to form the government is a development for democracy. He said this is the first time that political parties are using parliamentary means to try and send the winning party of the 8 June elections into the opposition. “This is a normal procedure in all parliamentary democracies. This has happened in neighboring countries on several occasions, it happened in Slovenia and Serbia, and in countries with a pure parliamentary democracy. Therefore, political parties and other institutions should not see the use of parliamentary means as an institutional crisis or use this is a pretext to go to early elections,” he added.
