The Prime Minister of Kosovo Isa Mustafa and his Deputy Hashim Thaci, visited Ibrahim Rugova’s cemetery, to honor the eighth anniversary of Kosovo’s declaration of independence.

Thaci said that he went there to remember the President and his contribution to the independence of Kosovo.

Speaking about the protest organized by the opposition today at 14:00 hours, he said that Kosovo needs a democratic opposition. “I believe that it would be in the interest of Kosovo to have a democratic opposition that works towards strengthening the state, rather than acting like a political-criminal enterprise as is currently the case,” Thaci said.
