The government of Kosovo decided during today’s meeting to extend the mandate of the current Police Director, Shpend Maxhuni.

Minister of Internal Affairs Skender Hyseni said that the proposal for such decision was made based on Maxhuni’s performance at work.

The Prime Minister Isa Mustafa on the other hand praised highly the work of the Police. “We have assessed highly the work of the Police and management of Kosovo Police, therefore we agreed to nominate Maxhuni for another mandate,” he said.
