UN to hold session on Kosovo (RTK)

The UN Security Council will hold today a session to discuss the security situation in Kosovo, from 16 April to 15 July.

The Egyptian permanent representative will be chairing the session. In his most recent report, the UN Secretary General, Antonio Guterres, assessed that the dialogue between Pristina and Belgrade is facing difficulties, noting that expected, sufficient achievements are not met yet, including here creation of the Association of Serb-majority Municipalities.

UN Secretary General Guterres further called on both parties to resume as soon as possible with the dialogue, as the only means to move the processes forward.
