Serbia asks Kosovo to lift flour tax (Klan Kosova)

Authorities in Belgrade have sent a note of protest to Kosovo institutions after the latter imposed a tax on flour imported from Serbia. Serbian Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunication, Rasim Ljajic, said the measure represented a “classical customs barrier which hinders and even bans import of flour from Serbia.” Ljajic said that if the imposed tax is not withdrawn, Serbia will seek an urgent CEFTA meeting and also address the matter to the European Commission.
