The President of Kosovo Hashim Thaci participated today at the ceremony of marking “The week for the rights of the victims of crime.” During his speech, Thaci requested from prosecutors and judges to take seriously their responsibilities.

“I request from each judge and prosecutor to take his responsibilities seriously. We have made major steps also on compensating the victims of violence during the war. We will seek the truth and justice. Defense of citizens is the essential obligation of the entire society, especially of the justice system. I am pleased that Kosovo remains leader in the region in the field of the rights for the victims of crime, although we should aspire more,” Thaci said.
