Leader of Alliance for Future of Kosovo (AAK) and opposition’s candidate for prime minister, Ramush Haradinaj, said in an interview for Klan Kosova that he regrets the opposition coalition was not reached before elections. “I tried but there simply wasn’t the necessary readiness”, he said.

“We had before us the option of either having Thaci fully or partially; either admitting defeat of providing a change for Kosovo”, said Haradinaj adding that the opposition decided to say no to a third mandate to Thaci government and therefore formed a majority in the Assembly.

“We are aware of the challenges because the decision came after many analyses. We know where we are. We know what we are getting into and what is ahead of us”.
