Jahjaga: international partnership rocked by the crisis (Koha)
President of Kosovo, Atifete Jahjaga, has informed all leaders of parliamentary parties about the current situation and the danger not only from an institutional and political crisis but above all, a budgetary and financial one. The president’s chief of staff, Arber Vllahiu, in a statement to Radio Free Europe, said that Jahjaga has expressed deep concern for the inability to form sustainable institutions and this, she warned, rocks partnership with international community, particularly in the field of security.
“Bypassing of Kosovo from the agenda of international partners because of the blockade in building of institutions, is concerning and puts Kosovo in a difficult position that hinders the strengthening of its international subjectivity”, Vllahiu said. He added that President Jahjaga expected the leaders to reflect on the situation in the coming days and come up with concrete proposals for resolving the crisis.
