The drama is continuing (Danas)
Despite the praise of official Belgrade and Ramush Haradinaj at the expense of the Serbian List (since it made possible election of Mustafa for Parliament speaker), political analyst Dusan Janjic commented that the "involvement of Serbian representatives in problems of the Albanian majority is not a clever move".
"What the Serbian list will do if in Kosovo Assembly will be formed the new majority? Or, if the position of the international community will be that members of the Kosovo government cannot be directed by Belgrade? Because of the sympathy for Haradinaj, the Serbian List helped the Self-Determination not to vote for president of the Assembly. Moreover, it turned out that Albin Kurti and Glauf Konjufca are closer to the Serbs than party with which they were in Kosovo parliament for three years, with which Belgrade negotiated and signed an agreement in Brussels. This is a slap to the Brussels agreement," Janjic said.
"This is a short-term interim solution till new parliamentary elections, which should facilitate the arrest of suspects for trafficking in human organs in Kosovo. In a report, which will be released on 28 July, are listed many important leaders of the PDK. The arrests for misuse of privatization were also announced. Situation is tense and volatile, what is very dangerous for the Serbs," says Rada Trajkovic, a former member of the Assembly of Kosovo and candidate of the Serbian list.
She does not exclude the possibility that the election of Isa Mustafa, which was allowed by the Serbian List, is the result of “influence of German CDU of Chancellor Angela Merkel.”
