Pantovic: Witness confirms Ivanovic was helping Albanians (Kontakt Plus Radio)

Trial to the leader of the Civic Initiative SDP Oliver Ivanovic and four other Serbs has continued today in front of the international court panel at the Basic Court in Mitrovica North, with the hearing of witnesses of defense Agim Deva and Nikola Kabasic.

Lawyer of the defense Ljubomir Pantovic said that Deva testified that Ivanovic helped him and his family three times before and after the conflict, for what he is thankful to him.
Ivanovic is currently in the house arrest as of 21 September, after he was discharged from Mitrovica hospital where he was treated following his weeks-long hunger strike. He is charges with war crimes against civilian population in 1999 and 2000. The same indictment encompasses and retired Serbian police colonel Dragoljub Delibasic, Ilija and Nebojsa Vujacic and Aleksandar Lazovic, who are charged with murder and attempted murder. ​
