Director of the Serbian Government Office for Kosovo and Metohija Marko Đurić received today senior official of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Australia Kevin Magee, with whom he discussed the Serb-Australian relations, stressing the important role of the Serbian diaspora in the relations between the two countries. Đurić introduced Magee with the progress in the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina and the problems of the Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija.

Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija said that Serbia is fully committed to the peaceful settlement of disputes in the Western Balkans, regional stability and better relations between Serbs and Albanians. For Serbia, at this moment the most important issue in the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina is formation of the Association / Community of Serb municipalities (A/CSM), said Đurić.

Magee said that Australia supports the process of dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina and that it wants to play a constructive role in this process.
